Southeast Asia offers an extensive amount of exotic fresh food including rare seafoods and tropical fruits. Most of the images in this gallery were taken in the open markets and streets of the Philippines. I am always able to find new foods when walking in the markets and I am amazed at the variety of what people eat. Exotic fruits, mouth watering vegetables, safe poultry meat, and delightful seafoods are in abundance year round in this part of the world. |

Currently based in the Philippines, Jacob does considerable amounts of travel, working on freelance assignments and shooting stock photography for his collection here at jacobimages.com. His aim as a photographer is to capture inspirational images that motivate, educate and show a side of cultures most people are unaware of. His images often reflect his bio-ecologist background and sensitivity to the human condition.
