Q: How do I purchase an Image?
A: We provide an easy online check-out system here on JacobImages.com for your purchases of fine art prints and image licenses. Start by searching our Stock Gallery and add the image(s) you would like to your shopping cart. When you are ready to checkout follow the instructions within your shopping cart. You will be brought to PayPal's secure website to finish processing your order. If you have any trouble with purchasing or have additional questions please feel free to contact us.
Q: I would like to purchase an image license, what is meant by "editorial use" and "commercial use"?
A: Editorial use is where the image is used for newsworthy purposes. Examples may include news articles, journals, or travel guides. This differs from commercial use where the photo is used to sell a product such as in sales brochures, advertisements, product labels, etc.. Licensing of images through the shopping cart for commercial use is not permitted because it may require a model release and not all images on the site have model releases available. If you need the image for commercial use, please contact us to see if the image is available for commercial use and to receive a price quote.
Q: I have a custom request, can you accommodate me?
A: If you would like your fine art prints on a different style of paper/size or your digital file(s) on a CD instead of a download, or have any other custom requests, feel free to contact us and we will try our best to accommodate it.
Q: I would like to purchase multiple images, do you offer any type of discount?
A: Pricing can be negotiated for multiple image requests. Please contact us with your inquiry.
Q: I am interested in buying an image for exclusive use, can you offer this for any of your images?
A: Most of the images may be negotiated for exclusive use. Please send us an inquiry to find out pricing and more information about purchasing an image for exclusive use.
Q: How will the image(s) be delivered to me?
A: For purchasers of image licenses, you will receive an email with details on how to download your images after your order is processed. Although this usually only takes a few hours, it is possible that the process may take up to 2 days. Fine art prints are custom printed and are typically shipped within 48 hours of placing your order. If your purchase is urgent, feel free to contact us to check turnaround time.
Q: What type of payment to you accept?
A: We use PayPal for all of our online transactions. PayPal is secure, easy to use and all major credit cards are accepted. You do not need to open a PayPal account to purchase an image.
MATTES & FRAMES FOR FINE ART PRINTS Prints have the option of being matted and framed to provide a finished piece of artwork for your wall. Mattes are 2 inches in width and come in white and black (we will use a white matte unless othewise noted). Adding a matte to a framed print increases the width and height by 4 inches. For example: a 12x18 inch print that is framed and has a matte will end up being 16x22 inches plus the width of the frame.  Black Curved: At 2 1/2" you can frame your largest photo with this soft black, rounded moulding. This is a great frame for black and white photography because it's a charcoal finish rather than a true black. Black Flat: This is the one you want for today's modern interiors. Nearly 2" wide, this flat, squared, and true black frame adds up to the most contemporary look. Black Rounded: Black combines with a bold round profile to provide a classic look. Both the inside and outside edges feature grooves to add dimension. Nearly 2" wide, this frame will add drama to photos large or small. All frames come with non-glare glass.
